DELHI, N.Y. — Eric Ahlers poured in a game-high 26 points with 12 rebounds as Husson pulled away in the second half to defeat SUNY Delhi 92-74 in North Atlantic Conference action Saturday at Floyd L. Maines Arena. The contest served as Senior Night for Broncos Jason Tagios and Noah Colin.
The Eagles (14-9, 13-3 NAC) outscored Delhi 52-40 after intermission, shooting 52.5 percent (31-of-59) overall and converting 23-of-28 free throws. Husson capitalized on 17 Bronco turnovers for 18 points while dominating the glass 43-26.
Kai Harvey paced SUNY Delhi (7-19, 5-10 NAC) with 18 points, seven assists and four rebounds. Abdul-Jaleel Ibrahim and Adan Madera each finished with 16 points—Madera adding seven boards—while seniors Tagios (10 points, eight rebounds) and Colin (four points, three rebounds) contributed in their final home appearance.
Connor Heald added 21 points for Husson, and Christian Smith chipped in nine points and four assists.
Delhi dropped to 7-19 overall and 5-10 in conference play. The Broncos return to action on the road at Lesley Friday night for their penultimate game of the regular season.
