Broncos Battle Back in Second Half but Fall 84–73 to Vermont State Lyndon
DELHI, N.Y. –The Delhi Men's Basketball Team came up short on Saturday afternoon, dropping an 84–73 North Atlantic Conference matchup to Vermont State Lyndon despite a strong second-half surge and multiple strong individual performances.

The Broncos struggled to find rhythm offensively in the first half, shooting 23.3% from the field as Lyndon built a 35-26 halftime lead. Sophomore guard Abdul-Jaleel Ibrahim delivered another dynamic scoring performance pouring in 28 points, going 12-for-13 from the free-throw line, while adding 5 rebounds, 2 steals, and playing a full 40 minutes. First Year guard Kai Harvey turned in a game-high 13 assists, the highest distribution mark the Broncos have seen this season. Harvey added 12 points and 4 steals to record his first career double double. Senior forward Jason Tagios posted 11 points, 10 rebounds to record his second straight double double as well.

Vermont State Lyndon was led by Matt Doyle's 22 points and 15 rebounds proving difficult to contain down the stretch. Three different Hornets scored 20-plus points, giving Lyndon a balanced attack the Broncos struggled to contain.

The Broncos will be back in action Wed. December 10th at 5:00pm where they will be travelling to take on the Gators of Russell Sage in a mid-season non-conference matchup.
