Women's Volleyball Defeats Husson, Will Face Maine Maritime Academy in NAC Championship

BANGOR, Maine - The Delhi Broncos Volleyball team completed the weekend sweep Sunday, defeating 2nd-seeded Husson in four sets (25-20, 26-24, 12-25, 25-16) to advance to the NAC Championship game, where they will face Maine Maritime Academy.

It was a familiar story for the Broncos, with Kayla Nuss leading the team in kills with 10 while also adding 14 digs on the day. Audrey Logsdon continued her strong defensive form recording 21 digs to just four reception errors, stifling the Eagles attack while also pitching in four service aces.

Laurel Poston once again directed the Broncos' attack, tallying 24 assists to propel her to over 1,000 in her career (1,010). Poston is 46 away from being in the top five for career assists in program history.

Julia Leavitt and Makayla Gray talled double-digit kills for the Eagles, with Amanda Mei Morse anchoring the back row with 15 kills in the loss.

The Broncos will face Maine Maritime Academy in the NAC Championship next Saturday, with time to be announced.
