ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. — SUNY Delhi volleyball battled through a five-set thriller on the road Monday night, falling just short in a 3–2 loss to Bard College (25–18, 23–25, 25–21, 24–26, 15–13).
Kayla Nuss and Noelle Placanica led the Delhi attack, posting 13 and 11 kills respectively, with Nuss notching nine digs and Placanica adding 2 service aces. Miranda Mosco chipped in a double-double, finishing with 13 kills and 10 digs.
Setter Laurel Poston directed the offense with 35 assists and added eight digs and four block assists, while libero Audrey Logsdon anchored the back row with a match-high 20 digs. Faith Sheltra and Ella Ludmerer each contributed key points at the net, combining for 11 kills and six total blocks.
The Broncos earned the three seed for the 2025 NAC Women's Volleyball Tournament, meaning they will travel to Husson to take on 6th-seeded UMPI Saturday, Nov. 8th at 1 p.m in the quarterfinals. The winner of that match will take on the host, 2nd-seeded Husson in the semi-finals on Sunday, Nov. 9th.
