Women's Volleyball Honors Seniors, Splits Third and Final Tri-Match
DELHI, N.Y. - The Delhi Broncos Women's Volleyball Team hosted and played in their last tri-match of the season facing the Owls of UMaine - Presque Isle and the Mustangs of Morrisville, while also honoring their Seniors. The Broncos would sweep the Owls 3-0 at 11:00 a.m. They played again at 3:00 p.m. where they faced a solid Mustangs squad, ultimately losing the match in three sets. 
Delhi vs. UMPI 
The Broncos came out strong in the first set, capitalizing on early UMPI errors and strong serving from senior Audrey Logsdon. Despite a brief rally from the Owls, Delhi pulled away late to take the set 25–19.
 
The second set was dominated by the Broncos, who went on a 10–1 run to start. Junior Kayla Nuss led the charge with multiple kills and service aces, while senior Laurel Poston distributed the ball effectively.
UMPI struggled to generate offense, committing several attacking errors and losing the set to the Broncos 25-8.
 
In the third set, UMPI showed flashes of resilience with kills from Jade Anspach and Rylie Kolkow, but Delhi maintained control. Senior Noelle Placanica and first year Faith Sheltra closed out the match with timely kills and serves, sealing a 25–15 win and the 3–0 sweep.
 
For the Broncos, Kayla Nuss and Noelle Placanica led the charge, with Placanica recording 10 kills to go along with 11 digs, while Nuss also had 10 kills with 9 digs. Laurel Poston aided the offense, tallying 26 assists, once again surpassing 25 plus assists on the year. 
 
Delhi vs. Morrisville
Morrisville came out strong and maintained momentum through all three sets to secure a 3-0 win over Delhi.
 
For Delhi, Nuss put in another impressive performance tallying 11 kills while recording 7 digs as well. Senior Audery Logsdon recorded five digs respectively while Placanica enforced a no-fly zone tallying a season high five blocks in the match. Kayla Sheasby anchored the defense for the Mustangs recording 12 digs while Keely Shearer was close behind with 10. Samantha Mehler and Samantha Siedlecki tied for a team high 6 kills as the Mustangs distributed the ball efficiently.
 
The Broncos have a short turn around travelling to Utica to take on the Pioneers Tuesday Oct. 21st at 7:00pm.
