ONEONTA, N.Y. - The Delhi Broncos Women's Volleyball team traveled over the hill to Dewar Arena Wednesday, Sept. 3rd to take on the Oneonta Red Dragons in a non-conference matchup. The Broncos came up short, falling to 0-3 on the season.
First year Skyler Furtado had the best statistical game of her career for Delhi, recording eight digs and two kills in the loss. Senior Audrey Logsdon tallied 10 digs, and Junior Kayla Nuss contributed both offensively and defensively for the Broncos, with nine digs and six kills. Anna Moller headed the Red Dragons' defensive effort with a game high 15 digs, and Keira Welsh and Shea Landversicht pitched in nine and seven kills, respectively.
The Broncos host Canton and Farmingdale State Saturday, Sept. 6th for a season-opening tri-match beginning at 11 A.M.
