Women's Volleyball Goes 0-2 in Nichols Tri-Match
DUDLEY, Mass. - The Delhi Broncos Women's Volleyball Team went 0-2 today, Sept. 20th at Nichols College where they faced the host and Westfield State University. With these two losses the Broncos fall to 0-13 on the year. 
 
To start the day, the Broncos played Westfield State where they battled to the end, ultimately dropping three sets in a row. Junior Kayla Nuss was on a mission to start the tri-match tying her season high with 12 kills and marking a new season high in digs with 21.  Junior Noelle Placanica added seven kills of her own to go along with senior Laurel Poston recording 27 assists. First year Brooke Becenti tallied 14 digs to finish the first contest. For the Owls, Kassandra Littlefield and Isabella McElhiney both had five kills while Nathayla Felix had 11 digs. 
 
Against the host Nichols, Nuss led the Bronco offense once again recording her new season high 15 kills with Poston tallying 22 assists. First Year Libero Brooke Becenti had 17 digs to set a second career high on the day, while Nuss added 13 digs of her own. Alyssa Morse had nine kills and 15 digs, both team highs for the Bison. 
 
The Broncos will be hosting Union College on Wednesday, Sept. 24th at Floyd L. Maines Arena, starting at 7:00pm.
