Women's Volleyball Drops Second Utica Matchup on the Year

UTICA, N.Y. - The Delhi Broncos Women's Volleyball Team travelled to Utica to take on the Pioneers for the second time this season, battling to the end but ultimately coming up short in three straight sets. 

The Broncos were led by none other than junior Kayla Nuss who had 12 kills to go along with 11 digs, while junior Noelle Placanica recorded seven kills and eight digs in the match. Senior Laurel Poston aided the attack for the Broncos with 23 assists, while also tallying 11 digs. Senior Audrey Logsdon anchored the back line like she has been all season, notching 19 digs in the loss. For the Pioneers Kendall Turner led the way with 14 kills to go along with 12 digs, with Megan Wright leading the team with a total of 17 digs. 

The Delhi Broncos Women's Volleyball Team will have a busy weekend where they will travel to take on conference opponents Vermont State Lyndon on Oct. 24th at 6:00pm. On Sunday Oct.25th, they will take on Vermont State Johnson at 11:00am.
