Broncos Show Fight but Fall in NAC Championship
CASTINE, MAINE - The Delhi Broncos Women's Volleyball team took the floor with high energy Sat, Nov. 15th for the NAC Championship game but ultimately fell to a strong Maine Maritime Academy squad in straight sets (9–25, 18–25, 8–25).

Set 1
Delhi opened the match competitively, trading early points behind some big hits from junior Kayla Nuss. However, a string of service errors and a powerful MMA serving run created separation midway through the set. First Year Miranda Mosco and senior Laurel Poston connected for a kill to break up the run, but the Mariners momentum carried them to a 25–9 finish.

Set 2
The Broncos regrouped impressively, putting together their strongest stretch of the match in the second set. Sophomore Ella Ludmerer sparked the run with a service ace, and kills from Nuss, Poston, and first year Faith Sheltra pushed Delhi ahead 7–5. The Broncos continued to pressure the Mariners with aggressive swings and improved passing. Maine Maritime eventually retook the lead with a late run, but Delhi battled throughout, highlighted by a service ace from Poston and kills from Sheltra and Nuss. The Mariners closed the set 25–18, but Delhi's competitiveness was evident.

Set 3
MMA opened the third set with a wave of tough serves that put Delhi on its heels early. Senior Audrey Logsdon delivered a service ace to help stop the run. Sheltra and Poston continued to produce offensively, each picking up kills in transition. However, a long Maine Maritime serving run late in the set widened the gap, and the Broncos fell 25–8.

The Delhi Broncos Women's Volleyball Team season comes to an end in the NAC Championship for the first time since 2022, finishing 5-3 in the North Atlantic Conference. The Broncos will lose some key pieces to graduation but will look to rebuild around a strong core of returners in Kayla NussElla Ludmerer, and Faith Sheltra who all played big roles in the Broncos run to the conference championship this season.
