UTICA, N.Y. - Alysa Jackson scored 19 points on 43.8% shooting (7-16), including 41.7% from three (5-12) as the Delhi Broncos Women's Basketball team (4-19, 3-13 NAC) fell to SUNY Poly (7-15, 3-10 Empire 8) 57-30 in their final non-conference game Tuesday evening.
A two point opening frame for the Broncos saw the momentum shift to the Wildcats from the start, and by the half, Delhi found themselves in a 29-10 hole. It was one of the toughest shooting nights on the year for the visitors who only managed to convert at a 20% clip (12-60), while going 0-12 from three.
Alivia Turk joined Jackson as the only Wildcats to reach double-digit point totals, notching 11 points in 17 minutes off the bench. Bryanna Lucas added eight steals and five rebounds.
Aniyah Boston paced the Broncos with seven points, four rebounds, and a steal. Gianna Schmidt hauled in 14 boards in the loss.
The Broncos conclude their season this weekend, taking on Lesley at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, and heading up to Thomas for a 3:00 p.m. tip on Saturday.
