DELHI, N.Y. — Jaydn Pingree scored 16 points to lead UMaine-Farmington to a 74-44 victory over the SUNY Delhi women's basketball team in a North Atlantic Conference game Friday at Floyd L. Maines Arena.
The Broncos (3-13, 2-8 NAC) shot 39.1 percent (18-of-46) from the field and trailed 35-25 at halftime against the Beavers (11-3, 9-1 NAC), who hit 50 percent (33-of-66) overall and dominated the paint 54-28.
Mya Aiken paced SUNY Delhi with 12 points on 5-of-10 shooting, adding three rebounds. Sarah Gaetano contributed eight points and four assists, while Aniyah Boston grabbed seven rebounds and two steals.
The Broncos forced 15 turnovers from UMaine-Farmington, scoring 10 points off them, but committed 23 of their own.
Audrey Mackie added nine points for the Beavers, who got 41 points from their bench.
Delhi fell to 3-13 overall and 2-8 in conference play. The Broncos return to action Saturday against Maine Maritime.
