Women's Basketball Battles at Albany College of Pharmacy

ALBANY, N.Y. - The Delhi Broncos Women's Basketball team battled hard in their closest contest of the year, falling 61-56 to Albany College of Pharmacy on the road Tuesday evening. 

Mya Aiken, a North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Week honor roll member for the past two weeks continued her strong start to the season, once again leading the Broncos in scoring with a 15-point night. Sereena Palau fired in nine points off the bench, going 2-3 frmo the field and 5-8 from the free throw line. Alexandra Reuss added 10 rebounds to go along with a steal and a block, anchoring the inside for the Broncos while also coming off the bench. Adora Cho and Sam Howland combined for 32 points to lead the home squad, with Nadia Osmani adding another 10 off the bench. 

The Broncos head up to Maine to take on Maine Maritime Academy and UMaine - Farmington on Friday night and Saturday afternoon.
