ONEONTA, N.Y. - The Delhi Broncos Women's Basketball team (1-10, 0-5 NAC) fell on the road at Hartwick Sunday, dropping their final non-conference matchup before winter break by a score of 65-33.
The Broncos got out to a slow start, trailing the Hawks by 10 at the first break and 19 by the half. The team looked to have found their groove in a competitive third quarter, but a two-point final frame solidified the loss for the visitors.
Alexandra Reuss led the Broncos with a 16-point performance off the bench, her second highest scoring game behind an 18-point night at UMaine-Farmington last season. Olivia Farnham went 7-10 from the field to record her 16 point double-double for the Hawks, and Jessica Bowens added 12 points and 17 rebounds in her own dominant display.
The Broncos will return from break with a conference game at Husson on January 5th.
