Men's Soccer Triumphs 2-1 at Husson to Advance to NAC Championship

BANGOR, Maine — SUNY Delhi men's soccer advanced to the North Atlantic Conference championship match with a 2–1 semifinal victory over Husson University on a gusty Saturday afternoon at John P. Boucher Field.

The Broncos set the tone early when Kian Flynn opened the scoring in the 23rd minute to put Delhi in front. Michael Adeyeye extended the lead in the 59th minute off an assist from Matt Serrao, giving the Broncos a 2–0 advantage midway through the second half.

Husson cut the deficit in the 83rd minute, but Delhi's defense held strong in the closing minutes to secure the win. Goalkeeper Salvatore Meloni made four saves, anchoring a composed defensive effort that withstood late pressure from the Eagles.

The Broncos will face the winner of Saturday evening's other semi-final match between Thomas and Maine Maritime Academy in the NAC Championship game Saturday, November 8th, time to be determined.
