Men's Soccer Shines on Senior Recognition Day

DELHI, N.Y. - The Delhi Broncos Men's Soccer team bested SUNY ESF 7-0 in their senior recognition game Saturday, October 4th, which saw seniors Matt Serrao, Michael Adeyeye, and Colin Zipp recognized pre-game.

It was a balanced attack for the Broncos, with seven different people scoring each goal. Seniors Cristobal Garzon, Serrao and Zipp found the back of the net on their senior day, with Zipp's goal resulting from a penalty drawn by the other Delhi senior Michael Adeyeye. First years Amraphel Theingar and Jared Fernandez each scored their first collegiate goal, and Aidan Gaughan and Robert Mercilliot each added a goal of their own for Delhi.

Ayden Grieve started in net for the Broncos with Jonah Williams assuming the role in the 66th minute, combining for a clean sheet. With the win, the Broncos improve to 3-3-5 on the year and take on conference foe UMaine-Presque Isle Saturday, October 11th at 3:30 p.m.
