Cole Picks Up Where She Left Off, Sets Program Record in Track and Field's First Meet

UTICA, N.Y. - Miranda Cole picked up exactly where she left off at the end of the 2024-25 season on Saturday, dominating the women's 300 meter with a time that is 12th all time for Division III, setting a program and facility record in the process at the Utica Holiday Classic.

Cole's time of 40.82 beat teammate Zoe Rodi's previous record, also set at Utica, of 41.13. Rodi (42.75) and Shaesha Johnson (43.10) placed third and fifth respectively, with all three performances placing in the top five of program history.

On the men's side Richard Fuller put in a program second-best 35.47 in the 300 meter, a full second behind the mark that Joshua Jeffes set in 2022. Additionally the men's 4x200 relay team, comprised of Dale Lambert, Christopher Jean Simon, Marco Gordon, and Aiden Burgos, qualified for regionals with a second place 1:33.20, and Neklor Smith put up a program fourth-best in the 600 meter with a time of 1:23.60.

Below is a complete list of Personal Records set by Broncos at the Utica Holiday Classic. The Broncos face a break of more than a month before competing next, when they will return to Utica for the Utica Winter Opener on Friday, Jan. 16th.
