DELHI, N.Y. — SUNY Delhi swimming and diving opened its season with several strong performances Saturday at the Delhi Mini Invite, highlighted by multiple event victories and a first-place team finish for the men.
On the men's side, Robert Armstrong led the way with wins in the 1000-yard freestyle (12:05.85) and the 100-yard backstroke (1:01.32). The relay team of Lukas Christon, Sarthak Thapa, Jed Sanikidze, and Armstrong also claimed first in the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:50.19.
For the women, Olivia McPeek placed second in the 50 backstroke (32.72), while Emalyn Kulp added a third-place finish in the 50 breaststroke (38.19) and a fourth-place showing in the 100 breaststroke (1:28.06).
The Broncos men captured first overall in the team standings, while the women finished second, marking a strong start to the 2025–26 campaign for both squads.
