DELHI, N.Y. - The Delhi Broncos Men's Tennis team kicked off it's spring season by falling to Houghton and Bard in consecutive days on Thursday and Friday.
On Thursday the Broncos opened their season with a 6-1 defeat at the hands of the Highlanders, getting swept in doubles before dropping five of the six singles matches. Devin Guerreri picked up the lone win for the Broncos, trading the first two sets before winning a nail-biting final frame 10-8.
Friday was more of the same as Bard took both doubles matches they participated in, with Gavin Bonczkowski and Benjamin Andersen picking up the forfeit win for Delhi. Bonczkowski and Moloney picked up singles wins as the Broncos fell 5-2.
The Broncos are back in action, once again in the bubble, for a doubleheader against VTSU Lyndon on Saturday starting at 11:00 a.m.
