HUMMELS WHARF, Pa. — The SUNY Delhi men's golf team finished fifth out of nine teams at the Susquehanna University Spring Invitational on Thursday, posting a one-round team total of +43 at Susquehanna Valley Country Club.
Grady Glennon led the team's scoring contingent with a +9, finishing T11 in the individual standings. Matthew Daniels and Ben Swartz each carded a +10 to finish T16, while Jonathan Tecchio rounded out the team score at +14, finishing T29. John Souva also competed for Delhi, finishing T33 at +17. Susquehanna's A squad took team honors at +29.
Competing as individuals, William Martin turned in the best round of any Delhi golfer, finishing T6 with a +8 — the highest individual finish of the day for the program. Jack Nelson also competed individually, finishing T38 at +19.
Delhi returns to action Saturday for the Dr. Tim Brown Invitational at Ballston Spa Country Club.
