Men's Golf Stays Hot, Winning Cobleskill Fall Invitational and Match Versus The Apprentice School

DELHI, N.Y. - The Delhi Broncos Men's Golf team competed in and won two seperate events Sunday, August 31st.

The primary Broncos squad travelled to Cobleskill for their fall invitational tournament, shooting a team 303 to barely beat out Russell Sage at 304 and Canton at 305. Senior Ben Swartz made birdie on the par-4 18th to secure the one stroke victory for Delhi, with the Broncos' scores as follows: Will Martin 74, Matthew Daniels 75, John Souva 77, Ben Swartz 77, Grady Glennon 77, Jonathan Tecchio 75 (Individual).

Ryan Burgess and Jack Nelson led the charge for the Broncos back home in their match against The Apprentice School at the College Golf Course at Delhi, shooting even par 72s en route to a 21 stroke victory for Delhi. Thomas Politano (3rd), David DeBennardo (5th), Taylor Brock (6th), Maxwell Dutcher (7th)  and Parker Flanagan (8th) round out the Broncos' top 10 individual scores.

The Broncos travel to Long Island for the George Cangero Invitational at Eisenhower Park Golf Course next Saturday, Sept. 6th.
