DELHI, N.Y. - The Delhi Broncos women's tennis hosted Lesley University on Saturday, October. 4th in a conference matchup, falling 4-3.
Alyssa Gregorius and Virginia Savage fell short at No. 1 doubles. Elizabeth Losee and Alexi Prezybylski took No. 2 doubles 6-3. Kimberly Galan and Alivia Mickle took No. 3 doubles 6-1 to put the Broncos ahead claiming the overall doubles point. Lesley would take No. 1 and No. 2 Singles taking a 2-1 lead. Prezybylski was able to even out the score defeating her opponent 6-4, 6-2. However, Lesley answered back with a 6-3, 6-0 win at the No. 4 and 6-2, 6-1 in No. 5. Savage recorded another win for the Broncos in No. 6 action, but the visiting team came away with the 4-3 win. With the loss the Broncos move to 3-6 on the year and 2-3 in conference play.
The Delhi Broncos Women's Tennis team will take on Simmons University at Home Sunday, Oct. 5th starting at 11:00am.
