DELHI, N.Y. - SUNY Delhi's women's tennis team got in the win column with victories on Saturday, Sept 13th against VTSU-Johnson in a double header, with the first of the two being a conference matchup.
Delhi took the conference match in a smashing 6-1 victory. The Broncos had a clean sweep in doubles and only needing two points from the singles portions of the match, Delhi did just that with wins from Alyssa Gregorius, Alexia Przybylski and Elizabeth Losee.
In match two the Broncos took a narrow 4-3 victory as Delhi took two of three doubles matches heading into the singles portion of the contest. An Alivia Mickle singles victory in her first match would be the deciding factor for the Broncos in match two, allowing them to hold off the Badgers.
The Broncos move to 2-2, 1-0 in conference play. The Broncos will next play at Marywood in a non-conference match on Saturday, Sept. 20th.
