Coach Jordan Brannan enters his second year as SUNY Delhi’s Head Coach of the Men’s and Women’s Cross Country programs. Brannan also serves as the Assistant Coach of Indoor and Outdoor Track as the distance running specialist.

In Brannan’s first year at the helm of the cross country programs, the team saw tremendous accomplishments with a small group of athletes. In the Fall of 2024, the Lady Broncos were crowned NAC champions with an average time of 23:43 - breaking the team average school record and home course record. Amanda Intrieri led the team by winning her first individual conference title in a school and course record time of 22:40. Teammates Charlotte Warner (3rd, 22:56), and Amelia Bowman-McCoy (5th, 23:13) also broke the previous school record.

In Brannan’s first year as distance running specialist, the women’s team saw more success. This included school records in the indoor 800 (Intrieri 2:17.6), Mile (Warner 5:18.6), 3000 (Warner 10:30.3), 5000 (Bowman-McCoy 19:20.8), and DMR (12:38.9). Outdoor track saw more records go down in the 800 (Intrieri 2:12.10), 5000 (Warner 17:22.0), 10000 (Bowman-McCoy (41:17.9) and 3000 Steeple (Warner 11.05.6). Both the indoor and outdoor season saw SUNYAC championship victories from Warner (Indoor 3000, Outdoor 3000 Steeple) and Intrieri (Outdoor 1500). Overall the combined men’s and women’s distance programs boasted a year to year personal best rate of 85%.

Brannan joined the Broncos in the Spring of 2024 as an Assistant Coach of the track team, working primarily with the distance runners. In his first season, he assisted Head Coach Zack Brown in winning the men's 2024 NAC championships which included 1st place finishes from John Amenta in the 5000 and 10,000, and All-Conference performances by Sam Lees (800m), Mary Bryant (800m), John Amenta (1500m), and Marissa Lombardi (10,000m).

As an athlete, Brannan found success in his 5 years with Iona College’s nationally ranked Division 1 cross-country program. With the Gaels, Brannan won the 2019 indoor IC4A 5000 title as well as 2 MAAC individual conference championships titles. Brannan competed at the 2018 and 2019 NCAA D1 cross country championships as well as the 2019 NCAA East Regional championships. Brannan holds personal bests of 14:03(5k), 8:08(3k), 29:43(10k) and 3:50(1500).

As a prep, Brannan trained under Armory Hall of Fame Coach Jim Schlentz at Colts Neck High where he achieved two NJ all-state titles and 2 all-americans marks.
