NEWBURGH, N.Y. - Robert Armstrong broke a record set all the way back in 2015 in the 200 yard butterfly, finishing with a time of 2:14.14 to take Donny Martel's record as Men's Swim took second and Women's took third at Mount St. Mary's Fall Invitational, featuring the hosts, Brooklyn College, and York College.
The men's side finished with 207 points, enough for second but a far cry from first-place Brooklyn's College's 594. Armstrong's record breaking finish secured second in the 200 yard butterfly, with Dylan Neuhaus-Kilgore taking fourth in a field of 18 in the 50 yard freestyle. It was a strong showing for the relay teams, with Delhi winning the 400 yard freestyle and taking second in the 400 yard medley.
Emalynn Kulp once again put in a strong performance for the women, taking second in the 200 yard freestyle and Olivia McPeek took home fourth in the 50 yard freestyle and the 100 yard backstroke.
The Broncos will be back in the pool December 5th, making the short trip over to Hartwick.
